The Creek Station Cabernet 2008 (12 x 750ml)
A soft and enjoyable red wine

Overview

Currency Creek is part of the famous South Australian Ballast Stone group. This family owned Estate is situated 80kms south of Adelaide in the Currency Creek Region adjacent to the Southern Ocean and Lake Alexandrina.

The region is maritime in character and produces long dry summers where the mean growing rainfall is less than 6inches(155mm) and the mean January temperature is 65°F (18.5°C). These conditions, matched with the ancient coastal soils, create the ideal conditions for prolonged ripening and consistent grape yields producing wines with outstanding varietal definition and lift.

The Creek Station 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon has overtones of blackcurrant and stewed rhubarb emerge on the palate of this soft, enjoyable red wine.
