Overview
Doonkuna is a Family run cool climate winery in the Canberra region. The grapes for this wine were especially selected from one of the top vineyards in the area and blended with the family estate Shiraz grapes to create a brilliant representation of this regions best.
The wine is partly aged in French oak barrels and partly on French oak wood staves to add body and complexity.
The wine is full bodied with a deep purple hue. The palate is berry jam with a soft oak component and a long finish.
