This is a tasty locally produced dessert wine made by Barton Estate. If you're quick you can grab this award winner at under $8 a bottle as a cleanskin!
Fruit was left on the vines until after the first frosts, and the cool moist mornings of the Canberra Autumn allowed comprehensive botrytis infection. This wine has an intense bouquet redolent of cumquats and marmalade. The delicious palate of dried apricots and orange peel flavours is balanced and completed by the luscious honeyed lingering finish.
With a very limited run of this wine available as a cleanskin it really will be 1st In 1st Served... and if you're not quick you really are missing out on a great wine at a fantastic price and will have to seek it out at $18 a bottle!
